Name: Paige McDowell
+ Paige has always been naturally quiet. Her voice is soft spoken and often unheard if you are not listening closely.
- She has a short temper. Not that you hear her rage. It's always the silent treatment. And she does things behind your back. Like hiding your car keys. Good one Paige.
+ Paige is independent. A trait she learnt from having to do everything on her own till now. She was often a solo player, only partying when needed, and then only partying with players that wont hold her back.
- She trusts and relies on nearly no one. There are only 2 or 3 people in the world she would allow to be by her side in a dangerous situation willingly, and even less she would trust with her life. She wishes to have more people like this, but wont easily allow you a place in her heart.
+ Despite her independent nature, and short temper, Paige has some cute parts to her too. For example, she is bad at getting revenge. No matter how angry she is, she will never physically or mentally harm or scar you. It will be petty tricks, like dyeing your favourite shirt pink. Adorably small things that tick you off, but don't hinder your everyday life.
- She honestly believes that her pranks are brilliant. Even when they're not.
+ She does not yell. Or raise her voice in general.
-Because of the years she's played as a theif, stealing is like second nature to her. It's almost a compulsion now. Watch out.
Paige was born with terrible hearing. And with terrible hearing: comes an inability to tell what volume your voice is projecting at. She found herself getting told off during kindergarden for speaking too loud, so she began speaking softer, and softer, and softer, to the point you couldn't hear her if you were not directly beside her. In fear of being reprimanded, she kept this up. By halfway through elementary school, Paige was simply part of the background. No one noticed her, nor did she voice her opinions. Being alone, she quickly learnt how to do things on her own. If she didn't understand something, she'd either use the hit and miss method till she got it right, or she'd go out of her way to use the internet as her teacher.
She could never use her voice to express herself, so she took to facial expressions and actions instead. If she was angry, you'd find small pranks happening around you; like your car keys going missing. She might have been quiet, but she was a trouble maker all the same. Sometimes she never gave the items back...
Not only could she not hear nor speak, but by the end of elementary school her vision had been getting worse. She and her parents worried for her future. They may not have ever voiced it, but they secretly wished she had not been born. No one should live with such misfortune.
She never became completely blind, she suffers from pinhole vision, which actually isn't much better. She couldn't play sports, she struggled to learn any instruments and creative activities like drawing hurt her eyes too much to pursue for much longer than 20-30 minutes at a time.
Before she entered highschool, Paige found MMO's accidentally.
Everyone's voice was the same volume, including hers, and for the first time in her life, she could hear and speak like everyone else. She wasn't automatically part of the background. She revelled in the new found enjoyment of expressing herself, but quickly discovered she was uncomfortable working alongside other players. She took a liking to classes that could survive without relying on a party. She also quickly got sick of playing classes that others relied on, having to carry noobs through tough boss fights.
Paige's break finally came when she was asked to be a GM for a popular MMORPG about 4 years ago. From her new position she had a good place to see the insides of the gaming world and hear what many other players had to say. She quickly took a liking to planning fun events for players to participate in, but designing where the games should actually go in future expansions.

(She speaks in a very whispery voice most of the time)
Her parents bought her visor for her 20th birthday. This increases her field of vision dramatically. The headphones amplify the sounds around her so she can hear better. There's a setting she can change, so she can increase or decrease how loud it is. And lastly, the microphone allows her to hear how loud she would sound to those around her. As long as she's wearing her visor, she can more or less live and act like a normal person.
She can't sing.
She's not particularly good with directions and relies on the GPS in her visor. You all know how GPSs are...
Wellllll, I'm good at editing, so you can send me anything and I can check it over for consistency and understandability. But because I too don't know much detail-wise about Trinity Miracles, I can't help much more. If the story page is going to remain as a placeholder for a while, we should probably update that little text to give a bit more detail to what's actually going on. I know I didn't understand without searching, and people are more inclined to join if everything's right there at their fingertips to begin with. The easier navigation is: the better. (But don't worry, I'll continuously edit that if I find any problems.) The other problem I had when making my app, was that there were no other apps to use as a guideline. So if it's okay with you, I'll pop a link in Character Creation to my app so people can have an idea of what a finished one might look like.
I acutally had heaps of questions while making my app, but because they weren't relevant to actually making my app, I didn't bombard you guys with them. I imagine most of my questions will be solved when Story is finally updated, though. (I feel story is certainly the most crucial journal to get done)
So other than editing and making general navigation easier, there's not much more I CAN help with, I'm afraid. Untill you can think of something you need done or help with. When that time comes, give me a call. (I have less than 2 weeks left of school forever, so I'm more or less free.
